The DJ's of Singapore Tango Marathon!

Greetings! It's been a long time since my last post and a lot has happened for me during that time. I had the great pleasure of playing twice at the Tango Remolino festival in Ukraine, we just finished the Helsinki Milonga Weekend in Finland and I'm looking forward to my up and coming gigs. I'm especially looking forward to returning to Singapore again in the end of April for the first edition of the Singapore Tango Marathon! Also the hottest marathon of all - Tangosauna - is happening in June again and I have the honor of playing there for the third time! Here are some of my tour dates:

TangoTunes - the online digital tango music store - has recently released some amazing compilations of music from Osvaldo Pugliese and Ricardo Tanturi. In the coming weeks I'll feature music from these compilations and start off now with the first one of their Pugliese releases.
 

The "San Pugliese" compilation features 42 songs from Pugliese's first recordings in 1943-1945 in chronological order, both instrumentals and vocal songs with the singers Roberto Chanel and Alberto Morán. TangoTunes has done an amazing job in digitalizing the songs from original shellacs and I would highly recommend getting the compilation - or buy songs individually.

For this tanda I chose the more nostalgic songs with the singer Roberto Chanel. Enjoy!
